Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition: A blacked-out Toyota Hyryder sounds exciting, but there is one important catch: the Aero Black Edition does not make the SUV faster or more powerful. Toyota has kept the mechanical package unchanged and focused mainly on giving the Hyryder a sportier appearance.
The Aero Edition was introduced with a ₹31,999 accessory package, while the current Aero Black variants are listed separately in Toyota Hyryder pricing.

What Makes the Hyryder Aero Black Different?
The biggest change is the way the SUV looks.
Toyota’s Aero package adds exterior styling elements such as a front spoiler, grille garnish, headlamp garnish, rear spoiler and tailgate garnish. The black treatment gives the Hyryder a more aggressive road presence without changing its basic design.
This is important for buyers to understand: Aero Black is a styling upgrade, not a performance edition.
There is no extra engine power, faster gearbox or new hybrid system just because you choose this version.
Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Price
Current listings show the Aero Black Edition across multiple powertrain options. Some key prices are:
| Aero Black Variant | Ex-Showroom Price |
| V Aero Black MT | ₹16.74 lakh |
| V Aero Black AT | ₹17.99 lakh |
| V Aero Black AWD AT | ₹19.04 lakh |
| G Opt Aero Black Hybrid | ₹19.56 lakh |
| V Aero Black Hybrid | ₹20.31 lakh |
These are ex-showroom prices and can change with Toyota’s latest price updates.
The regular Hyryder range currently starts at around ₹11.31 lakh, so the Aero Black variants are positioned higher in the range.

The Strong Hybrid Is Still the Real Highlight: Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition
If you are buying the Hyryder for something more than its looks, the strong-hybrid powertrain is where the SUV becomes interesting.
The 1.5-litre strong-hybrid version has an ARAI-certified efficiency figure of 27.97 km/l. That makes it one of the key reasons buyers consider the Hyryder over a conventional petrol SUV.
Toyota has also highlighted the Hyryder’s growing popularity in India. In March 2026, the company said the SUV had crossed the 2 lakh-unit sales milestone in the country.
That tells us something important: the Hyryder’s appeal is not dependent on a special black edition. Its hybrid technology, efficiency and Toyota ownership proposition are doing most of the work.
Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition Is the ₹31,999 Aero Package Worth Buying?
This depends completely on what you want from the car.
If your priority is looks, the Aero Black package makes sense. You get a more distinctive appearance without having to modify the SUV with aftermarket accessories.
But if you are expecting better acceleration, mileage or driving performance, there is no reason to pay extra specifically for the Aero treatment.
My take on Toyota Hyryder Aero Black Edition:
Toyota has played this smartly. Instead of changing a product that already has strong demand, it has created a more attractive version for buyers who want something visually different.
For me, the Strong Hybrid is the more meaningful upgrade, while the Aero Black package is a personal-style choice. If you love the blacked-out SUV look, ₹31,999 can be reasonable. If you are not particularly interested in the styling, your money is better spent on the variant or powertrain that actually improves your everyday driving experience.
Bottom line: The Hyryder Aero Black looks sharper, but the real reason to buy a Hyryder remains its efficient hybrid technology—not the black accessories.
